Cell Phones .... Verizon? T-Mobile? AT&T? ?

Question

I wanna get my mom a cell phone for a birthday present.

Her birthday is in November so I got time..

She doesn't need an iPhone so I was thinking maybe T-Mobile, AT&T or Verizon....

I heard that sometimes they have special offers like: Buy 1 get the other 1 free or buy 1 and get the other 1/2 price and stuff like that!

So I was thinking of getting a cell for my mom and 1 for me.

Which one should I get?

I want to get a great phone but at the same time inexpensive.

What kinds are there?

Whats the differences between them?

Oh yea, can I purchase them myself? I am 13....

My grandparents will be with me to help me out.

Get Verizon! that is the best phone company cause they have great deals and great phones! they have the best variaty they have like the en-v, chocolate, the best flip phone, glyde, just look into it:) hope this helped.

P.S. ive had 2 phones from verizon and they were great!

I know this is a bit off topic.  I love my new iPhone.  My favorite function is the voicemail function. It's also called visual voicemail. With the visual voicemail you can go directly to any message. You don't have to listen to the other messages first. I think this is a very nice iPhone feature. Now you don't have to waste any time by listening to other messages.
