Question:

Cell Phones vs. Landlines?

by  |  earlier

My family and I are all going to get a family plan on cell phones soon.

We were then considering getting rid of our land-line to save money.

However, we want to keep the internet.

So my question is:

Do we have to keep the landline in order to have the internet?

And if we could somehow, would that end up being cheaper?

Thanks!!

  1. I haven't had a land line in 5 years.  You can get DSL through your cable company to access the internet.

    Yes, it's cheaper.

  2. If you are using dialup internet, then you will need to keep your landline, in order to have Internet access. If you have high speed cable internet, though, getting rid of land lines will not affect your internet useage.

  3. You can have internet connection without a landline.. I am using a broadband connection and I don't have a landline but it's still good.

Get an internet connection plan which is cheaper.
