Hey guys, i just had a quick question that's been bugging me.

I am on the alltel network at the moment, but i absolutley hate their phones and i understand they are merging with verizon very soon. And with this in mind, i was wondering if since both companies use cdma technology, do you think i could get a phone from verizon and put it on the alltel network?

please give me a definite answer.

oh, and can you tell me when i will be able to purchase verizon phones, if so. (merge.)

You can get any cdma phone off of Ebay and use it with any cdma network.

The one thing you must make sure of is that the phone is UNLOCKED.  This means that the phone is not locked into a specific carrier.  

I got a HTC Dash phone for $150 off of Ebay when my carrier was asking $300 for it.
