  1. As someone who has spent 15 years in the tele-communication industry, I can assure you that there is no need for such a scam item.  Today's modern cell phones give off less radiation then your toilet.  Assuming you own one.

  2. never heard of any such thing.

I looked at a few on the internet, and I suspect they are all scams. I'd wait till an independent body like CR reviews them.

    Just use a headset.

  3. If you COULD find such an item, it would also reduce your cellphone signal making the phone useless! Secondly, the phone radiates about enough signal to blow a fa rt off a flys but! You musta watched the stupid pop popcorn scam with your cell phone video......it was an admitted hoax! they had a hotplate underneath it

  4. The only way for that to work is to reflect all of the RF away from you. Sorry, but the physics don't match the claims. Anything other than an earth grounded shield is not going to stop anything.

  5. All of these products are scams that do little to nothing. Radiation emanates from a wide area on the cell phone. One little patch of material anywhere on your phone will do nothing. Just look at the disclaimer at the bottom!

"The vast majority of electromagnetic radiation emitted by cellular and cordless phones comes from the antenna and parts of the phone other than the ear piece. Wave shield products have no effect on this electromagnetic energy. They may reduce the strength of electromagnetic-field emissions from cell phone ear pieces by as much as 99% depending on the cell phone model."

That pretty much says it all...
