Cell phone contract not over.... but i want a new phone?

Sooo im currently with Sprint and im signed up for a 2 year contract. But i want to get a new cell phone the htc touch. How Much will it cost me to cancel the 2 year contract?

well i know that with verizon u can "upgrade" to a new phone.. but idk about sprint.. srry

You can buy an unlocked phone on some websites just google "unlocked phones" and you should be able to find some Sprint unlocked phones for sale, all you need is your SIMS card

I'm nopt sure how much it will cost, but there is a fee for cancelling the contract. If the phone is made for Sprint then I dont believe there is a fee you just change phones. If the phone is with a different company then you have to switch services and I'm sure they have a similar phone with Sprint.

Some companies (i.e., T-mobile) charge $200 for early termination. I'm pretty sure Sprint does the same.

Since Sprint carries it, shouldn't you be able to just upgrade to the HTC Touch? I know at T-mobile customers can upgrade any time they want, they get better discounts by waiting until the contract is nearly over but they can still upgrade earlier if they want. I'd check with your carrier to see if they offer something like this if I were you, it will likely be cheaper than canceling your contract, plus you'd get to keep your number.
