Cell phone help please!!!!!!!?

ok i found a sony ericson and its been like a few days and the thing has been clamed lke lost.. it ran out of battery and i found it somewere i far from my house so... ya.. is there a way i can unblock it or somthing??? or after a few months can it unblock its self if the ppl dont find it and cancle the claim??Help bestest and most helpful answer gets 10 points!!!

Unless you get a SIM card and unlock it, there's nothing you can do.  I found a phone working as a janitor (someone had thrown it away) and it was an alright phone.  I ended up not doing anything with it since all the trouble of fixing it up ended up more trouble than just buying a new phone, lol.  So either unlock and get a new SIM, or find the original owner.  If this helps at all, they sell prepaid phones for around $10 or $15 (cheapest) at Wal-Mart.  I believe they are TracPhones.  The service is decent, too, since it runs through Sprint (I believe).  Virgin Mobile offers better phones, and the same network - but at a slightly higher price.  My advice - save you and the person who lost the phone some trouble and money (especially if you're caught, because the phone is tracked by an identification number stored in the phone), and get a new one.

No you cannot unblock the phone, its basically no good unless it has a sim card you can take out and replace with a new one that has the same service already connected. The best thing you could do is call the company it has service with and return it to its rightful owner.
