Cell phone on carnival cruise ship?

I'm going on the mexican riviera cruise, on carnival, and I went to their website, and it said you can make calls from the ship on your cell phone. Does that mean they added something to the ship that gives you service out at sea?

no they do not it is just if u can get a signal. i went on a carnival cruise a while ago it is pretty much where you get a good signal. have lots of fun.

If the phone does work, you may be charged for an international call so you may want to check on that.

but i had my phone off the entire time

seriously, you should do the same and just relax

its so much better

anyways it would be super expensive anyways
