Cell phone (w350 sony ericsson) problem?

Hello, I have a Sony Ericsson w350 phone and I am having problems with it. Everytime I see a miss call, it is from the same person and when I look at the date, it's never the current date. My recent missed call would be found in the middle of my "calls" section so I was wondering why. This does not only apply for my missed/dialed/answered calls, it also applies to the messages where I would find the most recent in the middle or at the end. I used to have a date problem as well but that seemed to have faded away. I still have the message and call problem though. I was just wondering what was wrong and to see if this could be fixed. I have a cingular phone and it used to do the same thing with texts, which would drive me insane and then I realized that when you go to messaging,  if you have something on your screen that says either From, received, or subject that is your message type and you want to scroll down on that word and hit RECEIVED  to set it in the correct order.  I hope your phone is similar and this has helped.  Good luck
