Cello sheet music???

Does anyone know where i can get cello sheet music for pop songs for free?

I also would love to find such a site, but I really don't think one exists! I've looked everywhere and tried hundreds of sites from google searches but it's only ever classical music or pop music you have to pay for. These are the best I've found, but each only has one or two artists, so it's probably not what you're looking for:

However, there are other ways to learn the cello parts for popular songs.

1. Find the sheet music for free on a torrent web site. For this you need a program like uTorrent or Vuse (which are both free to download) and then you can search on torrent web sites for the sheet music of a particular song you want. A good site to search on is Isohunt. You could also try searching on a program like Limewire, it's a similar idea.

2. Search on YouTube for someone playing the song you want on cello, and if you're lucky they will have the sheet music. They might have put a link in the video details, or you might have to ask them. Though they're not always willing to give you it...

3. Find the cello music in the form of a MIDI file. You can download free programs that convert MIDI files into sheet music, or even easier, use this website (http://www.8notes.com/midi_sheet_music/)... It will show the MIDI file in sheet music, but it is usually not the cello part that is shown, unless the cello is the most prominent instrument in the piece.

Sorry that's as helpful as I can be, I guess the only thing to try after that is to actually buy the music, though I have found cello sheet music for pop songs to be quite rare...

Ah, if only as many people played the cello as they do guitar...
