Cellphone vs. i pod

Question

I want to get something for listening to music. i am thinking why would i buy a i pod when i can get a cell phone for about the same price and it would have music on it as well as other stuff. Also best kind of cellphones or i pods?

well.. cellphones are great for lissing to music but the sound quality is crappy compared to an ipod. ipods are ideal for best sound quality. Also most cell phones that are music compatible require a different type of headphone jack so you juts cant plug your average plan jane head phones into it.

Get an Ipod or just get a little cheaper ( i got my 1 gig MP3 player for 15$ at best buy) MP3 player. phones. unless they have MP3 playing capability. then you cant play the unless you record them using voice recorder. but MP3 players/ipods (they are way different) have better sound quallity.

Why not get an i-phone.  They hold music and videos, and its a cell phone.
