Sorry, not my sort of question at all I'm afraid! 99% of my best answers come from questions asking for opinions or information on current events...I don't see the point in filling my head with football facts...I'm only interested in what happens now :)

  1. The thing is, not the answer, is that if Celtic and/ or Rangers were to survive the initial season the the EPL, then the sponsorship and marketing behind both clubs would frighten about 16 of the clubs in that league.

With the worldwide potential of both, Nike and Adidas would be foolish not to tie them in to strong deals. Carling would either have to cough up or bog off (hopefully the second).

SKY would fall over themselves at the mouthwatering prospect of certain games and ALL of them would mean more pay per view for them - robbing thieving gits that News International are (allegedly).

Personally, I would LOVE to see them in the EPL and survive that one season. Not only that, but the players who would relish the legions of fans bellowing their name would be amazing. Unfortunately season brief prices would rocket.

    To abbreviate your points:

    1) Yes - survival = cash = success

    2) First couple of seasons mid - lower table after that challenging for CL

    3) Yes

    4) Yes

    5) No - see answer 2)

  2. I guess they'll do enough for a 10th or 11th place in the EPL.

  3. No I wouldn't welcome the move and it's never going to happen anyway. We are scottish clubs and we will stay in Scotland.

  4. Dream Dream dream dream dream dreeeaaaam

sorry was singing there, never ever ever going to happen, firstly we are not good enough we cant compete with the spending power of the bottom half of the table never mind challenge the top, both teams might survive the drop but how long before both sets of fans turn on their respective clubs as there would be no trophies comming in? And as for challenging the top 4 not likely, celtic have mgeedy rangers have ferguson look at what man u arsenal chelsea liverpool have their bench is stronger than the old firms first team squad, and yes both teams have had good results against english clubs, but every week? and what about the championship clubs? they will never allow it think they are going to let their place in the premiership go to Scottish teams, it will never happen but a more viable option would be to go to the championship and qualify there to the premiership but even that is unlikely. hope this answers the question

  5. I'm not sure if I'd welcome it, it could destroy our identity, although it would be good beating english teams every week and only playing Rangers 2 twice in a league season.

We'd survive the first couple of years and by about year 4 Celtic would be taking Champions League places off the likes of Liverpool. By year 5 celtic would be winning the league, Rangers would probably be challenging for top 6. We'd be taking the big time away from English clubs every year and for that reason alone it will never happen

If you dont think Celtic and Rangers are big clubs then you dont have a clue what your talking about!

I dont know what team you support but I can say for sure that they dont have supporters clubs in as many places as celtic do!

I dont have a problem with that, football isnt just about having enough money to challenge for the Champions League, although we have been big enough to defeat some of the winners of recent years!

I seem to remember Celtic winning 2-0 at Anfield on our way to the uefa cup final 5 years ago.... I'd say we do better than we should for such a small country  with little TV money..

I do agree Liverpool probably do have slightly more supporters clubs and are one of the genuinely big clubs in England but no others come near celtic except maybe man u but its not all about money and buying champions leagues

  6. Yes i would welcome the move to the english premiership. And if the  old firm could avoid relegation in the first 3 years. I think one of them could win it with a bit of luck. But i cant see them playing in England in my lifetime and am only 5 years old

  7. We would definitley survive relegation, both of us.

In time, when we are earning the money you's lot earn down there, we would challenge for top 4 nevermind top 6.

Haha - you can tell ali b knows her football well - get a grip, you silly little person LOL LOL!!!

  8. well beggars belief 99%on opinions of present issues

i dont know what to say,why did you bother coming in to this category if you do not know the history of the leagues in question,we are a people who follow our clubs and to us we have the best clubs even though you have more public and commercial revenue flying in to your league

but that does'nt stop us from beating these so called superteams in europe

do you remember the ac milan game were they put Celtic out in extra time and the following match they slaughtered man utd

the same year ac milan beat liverpool in the final

so do not tell me it would be easy for your top teams

  9. we do not need the epl and well done on passing your exams

  10. why should we play in an english league we are a scottish club

  11. celtic and rangers in da premiership, they'd get slaughtered get relegated to league div 1 and get slaughtered there too.

  12. i reckon celtic would be a top 6 club but rangers would be a very average team like sunderland and boro

  13. It's never going to happen. The English League will never agree to diluting their tv deals with two Scottish clus.

  14. would answer but I know you are just here for the bait...so cheers for the two points...

no doubt i will be recieving one of your blinding emails later?

  15. Why just Celtic and Rangers ?

What if the two Premiership leagues (Scottish and English) were combined into one? Would that possibly work?

Sorry to answer your question TP with more questions, but im trying to see it from another angle maybe.

  16. The english won't let us in. They know that Celtic would dwarf them after a while. That's why !!!

  17. Yes I would welcome that move.

  18. i probably would not welcome a move.the great advantage would be the money gained which would be incredible and would surely drive both clubs with a huge fanbase on to a new level.however,i think our identity would be tarnished as the spl is our rightfull place of football.

  19. in my opinion rangers and celtic would do really well down there, first couple of seasons would be tight goin with both in bottom half of league. but when both would get established theyd become massive due to them both being massive clubs with a huge fanbase. would prefer it if they stayed in scotland tho.
