dermot desmond put his hand in his pocket and bought some real quality for celtic? the guy is worth twice what murray is and if he would spend some money now then 9 in a row and and last 8 or maybe the last 4 of champions league are surely in reach?

clubs cannot expect their chairmen to carry their financial burden, they have to operate within their means, and celtic are quite well off in those respects.  

people invest money to make a profit, players play football to win trophies.  when they are mixed it can only lead to financial disaster.

think its time all the teams paid up for some quality players.but in saying that the spl teams dont get a good exchange rate for their players.so its a bit of a lose lose situation.

the club will also be looking at the new uefa rules coming out in next few year with being limited to the amount a foreign players you can have in the team ... way a see it is wgs is building Scottish side all through the team and giving the young bhoys a chance to come thought too.

no point in buying new players just for the sake of buying,

better to see how things go and buy in January if need be,Just have a look at recent signings, some have been pretty dire.There is just not the money in scottish football to support the types of players we would like to see at the club.
