  1. I would reference you to http://www.godchecker.com

This site has an extensive list of cultural pantheons.

  2. Much of that depends on which Celtic pantheon you are referring to.  There was no trans-Celtic belief system.  There is Scottish, Irish, etc.  They all had their own gods and goddesses.

    Dagda - Irish

I haven't come across a specific name for the Scottish one but probably one along the lines of the green man.

  3. Not that wikipedia is the most accurate but maybe this will help.

  4. each Celtic tribe had specific gods that they worshiped, usually based on what they needed to survive.

for example if they were a hunt and gather tribe they would see Cernunnos as the most important god.

if they were a warrior tribe they would see the Morrigan or Lugh as more important.

as for the big names in the gods of the time.

Lugh,  the good god (because he was good at everything)

the Dadga, often seen as one of the most powerful of the Tutha de Dannon (the children of Dannu). these were humans whom ascended to godhood. and were considered the first celts in Ireland.

Cernunnos, the horned god, and a god of the hunt.

and Ogmios, or Ogma. a bardic god and a god of knowlege. is said to have invented the Ogam language.

these were probably the most commonly worshiped, at least there is more evidence of the worship of these gods left in carvings to suggest this.
