Cena at his best in this week’s Raw Summer Slam
This week’s edition of WWE (World Wrestling Entertainment) RAW at Summer Slam was dramatic and violent as always. In this week’s edition Nexus created the hype and made the night’s edition more glamorous and entertaining.
The night was full of excitement and colours in Los Angeles. As some of the exciting battles were about to be seen and people were gathered for a great time of entertainment. The first competition was between the WWE superstar John Cena and a member from the Nexus group Darren Young. It was an important match for Darren Young to prove his capacity, as he was the only one left who had to fight and win his match. All of the other Nexus members were announced successful in their individual matches and now it was Darren’s turn. But he was a victim of bad fate as he had to face the WWE champ and veteran leader John Cena, who has already hammered him many times. It was particularly hard to forget his last month’s defeat by Cena. The pressure and tension for Young was increasing at a very high rate because he had to win the war against Cena by hook or by crook because his defeat would result in expelling him from the Nexus group. It was a bout which made the crowd even crazier as Cena and Young fought to take over each other and showed their wonderful techniques in the ring. But in the end it was Cena’s day and it was once again proved that he is the uncrowned king of the WWE ring. Cena used all his remarkable experience and settled the brawl in no time.
After the match, the Nexus group approached the ring quickly as always and called Cena to leave the ring without creating a mess as they were there to deal with Darren Young. They surrounded their target Darren Young, as he was the only one from the Nexus group who had suffered defeat in his individual match and it was now the time for him to say Good Bye to them.
In an another match of the night of the Summer Slam Raw came out to be an eye candy for the crowd as Heath Slater took over Edge. The match gathered interest of the people because both the fighters and entertainers, Edge and Slater are very similar to each other when it comes to skills and style. The match was full of action and entertainment, while both wrestlers collided hard and showed their stamina and talent bluntly. Both the fighters showed their best to get over one another and it was Slater who showed his strong nerve. Slater managed to escape at the time when the referee started to count by successfully utilizing his abilities and nailed Edge down in no time.
The match between Randy Orton and Justin Gabriel was not less than a drama as well. Justin Gabriel, who is a member of Nexus Group was supposed to compete with the WWE hall of famer Bret Hart but RAW’s General Manager had different plans for him who announced the match of Gabriel with Orton at the final stages. The match against Orton was not less than a shocker for Gabriel but he stood strong and fought to his fullest. The bout was a series of twists and turns, as Randy Orton performed his unique moves RKO pretty freely. During the bout, Sheamus rocked the stage with his surprise visit. Orton attacked the WWE champ Sheamus and thrashed him with an RKO as well. But the night proved not to be so lucky for Orton and his moved proved worthless for him. The Nexus member Justin Gabriel was announced victorious.
The Sunday night at Summer Slam was full of drama and action. This week’s edition has certainly created more hype and suspense than the previous week’s edition. The next week’s edition is assumed to bring even more drama and sporting action, as Nexus will create a new mess and Cena is ready to ramble. The entertainment of WWE cannot get better than this.
