Question:

Center split helpp???

my center split is not getting any better and i have been dancing fr 10 years already. i want to become more flexible but i have run out of ideas. i know i want to have all my splits by at least the middle of september but i need new excercises to help. any ideas???

    Ah, well maybe try laying on your back with your butt on the wall,

    and open your legs and just sit there!

    if that makes sense:)


  2. i want to know the same thing!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    it helps me if i stretch when it's my time of the month because the tendens there are more stretchy for some reason...

    but that works for me, just lay in your center splits for a long time and go farther and farther down.  at least 5 minutes.

  3. one stretching technique you can use is this:

    put your strongest leg up on a couch, stairstep, stack of books, anything elevated and then try to go down into your center splits. push as far as you can and hold for as long as you can. do this as often as possible and then sit in your center splits. it reallllly helped me and i hope it helps you.
