Central Africa Issues?

Do you feel that the main issue in Central Africa is the deforestation and the desertification of the rainforests? If not, what is? What do you think is a good solution?

personally i think not only that, but the mentaility of both the africans and the rest of the world shows little concern on such issues. central africa is an incredible land of vast culture and wildlife, but everybody is absorbed into the distribution of resources that such beautiful things are lost.

the problems exsist and has been noticed, but not acted upon, many africans have told me that the whole world has either forgotten or looked down upon the entire continent and has labeled it as hopless.

-however i like to beg for difference.

the only solution i see is that everybody, and i mean everybody, on this planet has to start cleaning up their acts, nations have to start setting examples to thier neighbors and start working together. it's really not that hard if you think about it,

- all you have to do is smile.

of course it won't be easy, but hey, if nobody does, then who will?
