Is it cheaper to have the heating running using the thermostat (obviously the lower the temp the lower the cost) or by having it set to come on 2 or 3 times a day for a couple of hours and using the gas fire inbetween?

  1. it would be cheaper to set down the thermostat but not too low, or the health bills will start rising

  2. The hot water heat is much more efficient than the gas fife heat. Stick to the radiator keep the heat low but comfortable and you will be an Eco-hero.
