Central Park Film Festival?

Question

I wanted to know if anyone has been, its in Rumsey Playfield, and if so, do you sit on the grass or stand or are there chairs or something? THANKS

You may have to stand if you are late getting a bleachers seat which on is a first-come, first-served basis.

Take a blanket with you and you can sit on the grass. Before, it use to be prohibited but the Commissioners allowed people to sit on the grass after the park got a more "casual" attitude.

Can I bring a chair to sit on at the show?

No chairs of any kind are permitted at shows. There are several sets of bleachers available if you would like to sit. They are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

How early do the gates open?

SummerStage gates open 90 minutes prior to showtime on weekends and at benefit concerts, 60 minutes prior to showtime on weekdays.
