  1. You will need the info off of the tag on the motor.

    Go to this site or call a store listed on this site (listed at bottom) . They sell the parts. It is actually very easy to install. When I do this on my own place, I also replace the fan. Not really necessary, but it can make a difference in how long the new motor last and how quite it is (if the fan is out of balance). Also easier than taking the old one off.

    While you have it all apart, clean the outside coils. The same place sells the cleaner. Just follow the instructions. This will cut down on your electricity bill.
