  1. Check the filter, and the blower motor.  If both are working, it needs a charge of coolant.


  2. HVAC Tech.:  Not enough information!!!! Is air coming out of the ducts? If no air 1) blower motor inoperative.  2)evaporator coil stopped up with dirt or iced over. 3) ducts disconnected in attic. Hard to guess without more info.

  3. The cooling coils in your air handler are probably frozen. this is a sign of low freon in your system.

    The easiest thing to do is look at the tube that comes out of the side of the outside unit. If it is frozen than the coils inside are also.

    Special equipment is needed to replace the freon, so you will need a HVAC company if this is the problem

  4. is the air blowing, just not cold? I had this problem and it turned out there was a very small freon leak. I just got the freon refilled and it's worked well since.
