Central line or Northern line?

Question

If you had a choice to live in zone 3 on the north of the northern line, or zone 3 on the west of the picadilly line, which would you pick? Which line is more reliable? Either of these get me to my destination in the same amount of time...

The Piccadilly Line is generally held to be the more reliable, because of the complexity of the Camden Town junctions on the Northern Line. The Northern Line also has the secondary problem of the Kennington junction/terminal.
