  1. it depends on what look you want

ceramic is a classic choice that can  be fancy or casual

    glass is very upscale

    plastic is practical and durable

choose what you want to use it for

  2. Ceramic - plastic cuts and holds germs, glass scratches and becomes dull or opaque.

  3. Depends who's using it.

If children are involved, then plastic of course.

Without, I'd say ceramic. It looks nice and usually has some sort of cute adornment on it.

  4. plastic it dont brake that easy

  5. I love ceramic dish-ware and plastic.  Very multi-purpose for the oven/stove/microwave/dishwasher/sink.

  6. Really depends on your situation.  People with young children like plastic, as it is more forgiving and if dropped, little ones won't get slivers of glass or ceramic in their kids feet.  Glass is nice for a certain look and ceramic is more durable and comes in a lot of patterns.  Myself, I like paper plates (re-recyclable) and a heavy white ceramic plates, that are plain, can be heated in the over, or nuked in the microwave or wrapped and put in the fridge.  The ceramic plates were bought from and auction of a restaurant getting rid of some of its extra plates.  They go with everything!  Can be casual or formal.  Then the paper plates, quick and easy heating in the microwave, making a sandwich, or reheating something.  Hope this helps you!  Good luck!

  7. I actually LOOOOOOOVE stoneware.  We use corelle in my house.  You can pretty much run it over with a dumptruck and it won't break yet it doesn't look cheap and tacky.  I will use corelle absolutely forever (I'm way too much of a clutz to use real glass lol)

  8. Plastic will not break easily but Glass contains very beautiful dishwares.
