Cereal question please help me for project! ?

Can you save Cereal that already has milk in it for like 1 hour in the refrigerator?

I wouldn't want to be the person that had to eat it because it will be mushy.

However, when I had to run out the door because my washing machine was overflowing all over the place, I just took my left over cereal (Cheerios) separated out the milk and used it and the "solids"  as ingredients in muffins.  It worked okay.

what do you mean by 'save'? it is eatable after one hour in a refrigerator. but it looses that crisp taste :)
