Ceroc Swift yearns to win Yellowbellies Stakes
Three consecutive victories during the last month was such a hallmark as it made Ceroc Swift a strong candidate for the Yellowbellies Stakes, scheduled to be held on September 12 at Peterborough racecourse.
It is hoped that the M. Alden trained black dog will enjoy great time on Wednesday night while running over 420 meters against four rivals.
The two-year-old novice dog possesses an impressive record in A1 format. Other than this, he has proved his class well in OR format too. The brilliant hound debuted in March 2012 and gained two consecutive runner-up ranks during the same month.
The son of Green Heat out of Something Savage broke his maiden by winning the May Dash Dup at Henlow. That was the 277-meter open race. He went on to finish 3rd in the Bookmakers Dash.
Then came August that proved to be lucky enough for Ceroc Swift as he earned a fantastic hat-trick.
Starting from the 4-length victory in The 'etudiant Francais' Stakes, the skilled sprinter won two A1 races marvellously. That was an impressive feat. He finished 4th in his last start, entitled as Stadium Bookmakers Sprint Trophy.
Thus, the dog possesses high spirit and great confidence that will help him seal top slot tonight. He has all the chances to thrive. The only threat to him is Bushy Miko who underwent a tough training session during the last week.
The R. Creckendon trained white and black dog started his career with a superb victory in February 2012. During May-June, he built up an excellent streak of four consecutive A1 victories.
His first OR triumph came on August 4 when he beat Southoe Major by a length’s margin in the Pepsi 235 Sprint For Dogs Only – Dup. The son of Boherna On Air out of Marlhill Biddy finished 3rd in each of his last two starts later during the same
month.
Hence, Bushy Miko can prove to be fatal enough for Ceroc Swift. We can expect a howling clash between these two mighty hounds.
The race is going to be greatly amusing for the spectators who are eagerly waiting for the action to begin.
