  1. rats can eat just about everything a human can. that doesn't mean you should feed it to them 24/7. try rat food but the occasional snacks are okay.

  2. As long as you're not ONLY feeding them that, it's perfectly fine. Rat staples should be lab block and/or homemade mix, with fruit, veges and fresh food :)

  3. as long as there arent too many chemicals, they should be fine.

  4. I have had 2 Rats...AMAZING pets may I add...and while I bet a lot of people might jump on me for this, I fed my rat almost anything that I ate (Minus spicy/sour or extreme flavored foods). And they live full happy rat lives!

It's very important tho, to feed them some kind of store bought rat food too! A human food only diet isn't good for rats! So if you have some food for your little buddy that is made for rats it shouldn't be a huge issue!

Also, a guy i knew ran a study in college (HARM FREE OF COURSE) he had two pet rats, one that only ate rat food and one that had a combo of rat food and human food and the one that ate human food lived longer! Interesting...hasn't been proven to my knowledge...just a fun fact!

    Hope this helps!

  5. i think so ....

they also like cheese and veggies and rat food

  6. As a treat? Sure. As a staple? No way. Nowhere near nutritionally complete.
