Question:

Certificate of Personnel Practice: Difference between provders

I was surprised to find out that CPP (Certificate of Personnel Practice) in the UK can cost from £900 to £4300 depending on the provider. For instance, the course at a local college costs around £900 and the one on the CIPD website (provided directly by them) costs £4300 and the same course by BPP costs £1900. As far as I can see the course structure is very similar and it leads to an Associate CIPD Membership no matter which provider you go with. Can anyone clarify this for me please.

Many thanks

Maria

  2. Hi,

I was also surprised by the range of price. But I also know that quality of the course depends on lecturer. You can pay less and get a good knowledge or spend a lot and get non. I'm thinking about taking the course  in my local college. It costs 900£ and I hope the money will be well spent.

Have you ever worked in HR? I'm not, and I wonder what chances I get after this course to find a proper job.... if any
