Certificate of conformity for my motorbike?

i have bought a lifan 125 gy 3 second hand and its not been registered in the uk but i dont have any documents how and were would i be able to get the certificate of conformity tried to trace it back to original owner no joy please help cheers

  1. How can it be second hand without a registration?

    Try to contact the importer - you'll need  date of import, but I doubt that a correct registration will now be issued;

    Otherwise, contact the DVLA: You'll probably need to get it registered on a 'Q' plate (not age related) by having it examined at a DVLA local office.

  2. The cost of getting it through the S.V.A. test and registration will be more than the bike is worth.

    Which is exactly why the original owner sold it, without ever registering it...

  3. sell it mate...there not worth the trouble...i mean its causing you hasstle now and its not even on the road...there more of a throw away bike....honnest bes tget rid.
