Cervical Cancer-Warts?

I was told that the strain of HPV that causes genital warts does not cause cervical cancer. I know a person can carry more than one strain of HPV but if I only have the strain that causes warts - am I still at a high risk of getting cervical cancer?

  1. The wise person would have an annual pap and a cone biopsy if there was anything irregular.
