Question:

Cervical Fluid?

Could you still get cervical fluid and not ovulate? I get all the different types of fluid patterns and I have this feeling I am not ovulating. I've used the ovuation kits, but they are negative... Can anyone relate to this??? Or is it just me? Thank you for your help!

  1. To find out if you are ovulating, start charting your BBT's.  Read up on Toni Weschler's book, Taking Charge of Your Fertility, or go to www.fertilityfriend.com

You will want to see low temps pre-ovulation, and a temperature shift that stays high for at least 10 days post-ovulation.  If you don't see a low then high pattern, you are more than likely not ovulating.

If you find that you are not ovulating, then you need to see your doc to have some tests run, and possibly get some medicine.

    Good luck!

  2. I think so yes, going by my last cycle anyway (LMP May 19th), as I had tons of cm and I mean tons of it (fertile kind too), but temps were weird and it looks like I may not of ovulated at all, and I believe that may of been the case considering I didn't get AF for the next month (June) and only just got it at the near end of this month (July). So yeah I believe it is possible to get fertile cm and not actually ovulate (I was doubly peed off as I am on Metformin and Clomid so skipping AF just shouldn't of happened). And so far I haven't had any luck with OPK's either, I haven't gotten a true positive yet so yeah trying with them again though myabe I was using the wrong, I dunno lol. but not giving up just yet (was told my PCOS might be playing a part in OPK's not working). So no you are not alone, confusing and frustrating isn't it?

    Good Luck
