Cervical mucous? I feel stupid asking this?

Ok so I have not had a period since Spet "07", miscarriage is June, and my cervical mucous is always like lotion. TMI i know i'm sorry, i'm just looking for a good answer. And i don't really wanna ask my male doctor about all this female stuff. Anyway, today my cervical mucous is really heavy and alot like clear egg whites. Any chance I could be ovulating???

Absolutely!! EWCM (or Egg White Cervical Mucous) is the most fertile and means you are about to ovulate. When you see this type of mucous you really need to make hay on those days because typically it is when you are most likely to conceive. The reason is because the LH hormone will surge before you ovulate, which produces this type of CM. EWCM provides a safe PH balance for sperm to survive which increase your chances fertilization.

My doctor said that you can ovulate with out periods but its harder!

Egg white cervical mucous is the typical sign that you are ovulating. There is a really good chance that you are ovulating. You can still ovulate without periods and you may think about getting a female doctor if you are uncomfortable talking to him about your womens help.
