Cervical positions and how they change?

Okay here is my problem ladys. I had my period june 18-25th which I did not know any thing about cervical positions until this month. My period for July was due on the 15th. I went to the docs on the 21st and had a blood test done which came back bfn. But for the last 2 weeks my cervix went from being low & hard to middle position and hard. Me and the hb had s*x last sunday and on thursday my breats started hurting but my cervix is still in the middle position and hard and when I stick my finger in there (I knw tmi) but I have a very light egg shell colored cm. Can any one give me any hints on what could be going on? By the way when I went to the docs again this week he told me to come back in sept if I did not get my period by then and he gave me a form to have my hormones, and thyroid checked. Please any help would be very helpful. Thanks
