Cerwin vega ht-10d subwoofer won't work in yamaha... we don't know which hole to put our ht-10d

we don't know which hole to put our ht-10d subwoofer (non powered) into our 6060 yamaha receiver.....HELP!!!!!PLEASE!!!! We have tried hooking it up to the extra front or the extra back that the receiver has but no noise comes out of it.
