The Olympique de Marseille full-back has just returned to club duty following Spain’s early elimination at the London Olympics and admits that he has work to do in order to gain full fitness
Canebiere is attracting few buyers in the current summer transfer window. So far, the club has not been able to sell a single player, something that president, Vincent Labrune is desperate for. Les Phoceens need to raise a few million euros before making
moves for any player they are interested in.
Despite having a lot of players who are good enough to play for some of the best sides in Europe, the Rhone giants are struggling to find buyers.
However, this might not remain so for long. Reports claim that English Premier League giants, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Olympique-de-Marseille-c40127 for almost two years
now and could consider a move away from the Stade Velodrome.
The youngster missed out on a berth to Spain’s successful defence of their European title this June and knows that in order to stay under the national team’s radar, he needs to play in a bigger league. And, a move to Chelsea would help him to attain national
recognition.
However, despite his own wishes, the player is not going to force a move – something that has become a common trend nowadays. While talking to the media, the Spaniard said that he is hoping that Marseille give a good account of themselves in the upcoming
campaign as the previous one was a forgettable experience.
After not having a full preseason on his back, the right-back feels that he is not physically ready and intends to work hard to get fully fit. The youngster has just come back from Olympics duty and feels that he is not at 100% yet.
“I just finished the Olympics and I spoke with the medical staff to explain that I have not returned to my best. I think in the coming days, it will come up with work and I hope to make a return as soon as possible. My teammates have had a full preparation
and I must be honest, I do not feel 100% yet.”
