Italian coach, Cesar Prandelli has gone on to hail Manchester City striker, Mario Balotelli for the brilliant performance that he put in against Spain, in a friendly.
Balotelli came on in the game as a second half substitute, but went on to impress with his skills, pace and quick thinking. The player left http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Sergio-Busquets-c33048 for dead on a number of occasions and made him look like an amateur.
Prior to the game, the Italian coach had stated that it was high time for Balotelli to grow up and prove his worth to the world. Just when the world thought Balotelli didn’t listen to anyone but himself, he took the manager’s advice and showed real maturity
on the pitch.
The striker didn’t throw any tantrums and didn’t get involved in any heated discussions with opposing players as well. All in all, it was one solid, well rounded performance from the striker.
Prandelli, when talking about the striker and his performance is quoted to have said : "Balotelli has it all, but I wish him serenity as this is the only thing he needs. As for the rest, he has everything"
Balotelli went on to create a number of decent opportunities during the game and seemed to finally be living up to his full potential. Manchester City manager, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mancini-c23323 was most probably watching the match and is going to be asking the player to repeat
the same level of performances, when he takes to the field for his club side.
Prandelli then went on to mention that another player who really shone in the match, was AC Milan striker http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Antonio-Cassano-c6302. The forward had, what can arguably be hailed as one of his best performances in an Italian jersey and was constantly penetrating the
Spanish defence.
"I think if Cassano maintains fitness and form then he can compete for a regular slot with the strikers ahead of him," added Prandelli.
The manager then went on to state that Cassano had every possibility to becoming a regular for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 in the coming months.

"I would not be surprised if he becomes a starter."
This performance from Italy has gone on to silence the team’s critics. Many believed Spain to go on and sweep past the Italians, but that was not the case. The Italians finally managed to come out of their slump and produced a performance, which did justice
to their title of being former World Champions. All in all, it seems like the Italians are finally back to full strength and are looking to go all out once the Euro’s start.
