Cesare Prandelli has insisted that the time given to him for the preparations ahead of the Euro 2012, is inadequate, and he could have used more time in preparation for the big tournament.
The Azzurri boss’s idea of frequent get-togethers with the players was rejected by the clubs who own the players. The manager insisted that he respects the decision of the clubs, but that will bar him from taking the preparations to the optimum level. He
insisted that Team Italy belongs to all Italians and should be supported respectively by all.

“I accept the decision of the Lega, but I want to highlight something – the national team is not mine, it belongs to all Italians. Everyone wants to win and it wouldn’t have been a bad idea to start the European Championships prepared in the best possible
