The Azzurri chief has revealed that he plans on taking on the Blazers with a much more attacking approach, and has stressed the importance of substitutions in deciding the fate of the game.
Cesare Prandelli has insisted that Croatia are a very different opposition than Spain, and has stated that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Italy-c2926 will play their second game of Euro 2012 with a much more attacking stance.
The Blazers are currently on top of the Group C after beating Ireland 3-1 in their first game of the tournament, while the Azzurri’s match with the World Champions ended in a 1-1 stalemate.
Prandelli pointed out that the Nazionale entered the field in the match against La Roja with a defensive mind-set, in order to contain the defending Champions.
The Azzurri chief went on to reveal that his team will look to take the game to Croatia in their upcoming clash, and go for the kill in the match to secure their position in the quarter-finals.
The former Fiorentina manager went on to remark upon the importance of substitutions in the game, and stressed that the players coming fresh from the bench must make their impact on the game.
While talking to the press, the 54-year-old said:
“Croatia play in a different manner to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011. Against the Roja we had to contain them first of all, whereas with the Croatians we must take the initiative. In every match there is the chance to make three substitutions and those who come off the bench have
to make the difference.”

Prandelli admitted to having plans for a change of squad, but chose to remain tight-lipped about them instead of revealing his secrets to the opposition before the game.
When asked if the change could include Balotelli, the Azzurri chief stated that he has seen the Manchester City striker train with much more concentration in the practice sessions, but refused to confirm if the attacker will be included in his starting eleven.
“I don’t want to say we are playing a certain way to then change 10 minutes later, so all I’ll say is that we have prepared well for this match.” He concluded.
