Cesare Prandelli demands more from the Azzurri: Serie A News
The Italian head coach has gone on to state that the Italian players are still rusty and went on to assess that the team requires more cohesiveness in their play.

Their second match of the qualifiers was not convincing
either, and they barely scraped through the match.
The Azzurri always looked nervy in the match and had it not been for the header of the Atalanta defender, Federico Peluso, the game might have taken a different route.
Cesare Prandelli remarked that September seemed to be La Nazionale’s bogey month and they lacked proper match focus during the time. He expects the team to play with more cohesiveness in the upcoming matches. The former Fiorentina manager went on to remark
that the first half of the match was nothing special, and had it not been for a better second half showing, they would have had a different outcome.
He went on to remark:
“We were a bit more organised in the second half, showing greater verve and creating more space.”
Prandelli remarked that the team needs to be more organised and work with the passion that saw them reach the finals of the European Championships in the last summer. He remarked:
“We know September isn’t our best month and we’re not very sharp, but we have to rediscover our enthusiasm, pace and style of play.”
