The Italian national team head coach has gone on to remark on the match Italy played yesterday and feels that it was match that would have been justified by a draw.
The Azzurri outfit were taking on France at the Tardini Stadium in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Mario-Balotelli-c23937 and Stephan
El Shaarawy. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Alessandro-c4710 Florenzi was starting in his debut match for the Nazionale as well.
It was a new look Italian outfit which saw Pirlo and Buffon being dropped from the starting line up and it was clear that Prandelli was looking to try out new formations and new players in the national set up. However, the match was lost by the Italians,
who lost out to the French outfit by 2-1. Stephan El Shaarawy’s first goal in the Azzurri colours was not enough to guide the Italians to a victory.
However, Prandelli feels that the score line did not do justice to the match they had played at the Tardini stadium, and a draw would have been a better result for the match between Les Bleus and the Azzurri. Despite his concerns about the score line, Prandelli
went on to reiterate that it was good that he was able to experiment with the Nazionale, as it would give him a good reflection on the things to come.
He further commented that it was a necessary process in getting teams ready mentally and tactically before major tournaments. He went on to comment:
“We didn’t deserve to lose this, but it was right to experiment and we will experiment again. We need to be ready for the tournament and that means using these games to test things out. We did some good things, it was the first time we were trying the 4-3-3,
so some movements were not going to be solid.”
Italy are notorious for losing in friendly matches, and they have added another loss to that list.
