The head coach of the Italian national team has gone on to state that the two midfielders will be able to play together in the international World Cup qualifiers.
Marco Verratti was called on for the national team squad after being omitted in the last round of World Cup qualifiers. He was also on the verge of being selected for the European Championships which took place in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Poland-c2983; however, his inexperience
at the top flight was considered the reason for his omission from the squad.
Another reason why the former Pescara player has been called up is due to the fact that Andrea Pirlo was off colour in the matches that took place in the last round of World Cup qualifiers and the inclusion of the Italian is to provide cover in case the
same happens. However, the head coach of the Italian national team has remarked on the predicament by commenting that the Italians can play in tandem and it is not impossible at all.
He further remarked on the positioning of the two players and mentioned that it might be fortuitous for the two to play together, and remarked:
"I think he can play alongside Pirlo, maybe slightly in front of him. They could even switch positions during the game.”

The former Delfini star went on to state that there is still quite a long way to go before he becomes an integral part of the Azzurri outfit. He further
went on to comment that he would love to play for the Azzurri outfit, regardless of his position.
He went on to remark:
"I played a few games behind the striker at Pescara last season so I see myself as a versatile player. But, of course, I will play anywhere for Italy. I don't feel important. I am lucky enough to be in the national team at 19 and this is something that doesn't
happen to most players. I don't know if I am a player for the future, I have to think about the present."
