The Azzurri national team head coach gives due respect to the Germans, and draws comparisons of their progress over the years under the management of Joachim Low.
The German national team head coach has stated that his team are well prepared to tackle the Italians, and come with a game plan that would work against them. He also said that his team was not fearful of the Azzurri national team.
Prandelli was later quizzed on the sincerity of the message coming out from the Die Mannschaft camp. The former Fiorentina manager was candid enough to reply that he did not see it that way. He went on to state that the progress made by Joachim Low’s side
over the years is there for everyone to see.
He went on to state that they would be playing with great confidence, and mentioned that it would be a fascinating encounter.
The former Venezia manager stated:
“In my view, no. The statistics show the constant growth of that team and how much they have improved in various ways over the years. Their confidence is there for all to see. We’ll meet a team that has belief and won’t be afraid of anyone. It is going to
be a fascinating encounter.”
Despite heaping praise of the Germans for their performances under the management of Joachim Low, the manager went on to state that his team had the necessary tools to tackle the threat posed by the Germans as well.
He went on to state that the team was focussed and was not suffering from fatigue of any sort. He went on to comment that the intensity and the hunger in the Azzurri players is high.
He went on to comment:
“We are in good shape mentally and I believe physically too. We cannot have fear. The adrenaline is the same as two days ago, the intensity of our concentration is there and all these ingredients can help tiredness wash away.”
