  1. I had a c-section 3 weeks ago, and i feel fine, even to mow but i wouldn't, wait atleast 3 more weeks.

  2. Nope, you can't push or lift anything heavy or excessive for 6 weeks. Ask a neighbor! Good luck and congrats mama!

  3. Nope, I wouldn't.  I thought it would be ok to move a computer monitor at 4 weeks...bad idea!  I got a sharp pain in my stomach and my back started hurting...I had to lay down and take meds.  I didn't do ANYTHING else until my 6 weeks were up.

  4. Look at the care instruction sheet you were given when you were discharged from the hospital. Although it won't say "don't mow the lawn" it definitely will talk about straining, pushing, and pulling and how long to avoid it.

NO it is not ok to mow the lawn.

  5. I had a c-section too and I was fine and healed after 3 weeks. The doctors would say no,but you can do as much as you feel you can.If you think you can mow then mow,If you feel you can dance then dance, it is all your body and everyone handles pain and healing differently.

  6. NO. you're not supposed to do anything for 6 weeks hun. at 3 weeks i did good to get a shower by myself.

  7. This is not a good idea. It is something like 30 layers of skin, tissue and muscle are cut through when you have a caesarian section.  As you can imagine the sutures on the outside are only external.  There is a lot of internal, mending, knitting and healing that needs to be completed before you mow any lawns....  Wait the 6 weeks and see how your tummy feels.  Mowing lawns with a push mower possibly is too strenuous for your tummy muscles even then.  Be patient and enjoy your new baby.  Congratulations !!!

  8. No don't do it.  You're suppose to take it easy for 3 weeks. You're ot allowed to drive let alone do the lawn.  Get someone else to do it. Relax, take it easy and enjoy your baby.  Congratulations

  9. No, definitely not okay!!

  10. No, you are not supposed to do any hard work for at least six weeks, you don't say if you have a significant other, but if you do, ask him to do it. or pay someone to mow your lawn.

  11. I wouldn't you could tear open tissue that's not healed yet I suggest you wait at least 6 wks just like a vaginal birth before you do any strenuous labor .... If you cant wait that long call your ob and ask them when they think it will be okay (even though they will probably tell you the same thing) give a neighbor kid 10-20 bucks to do it for you Good Luck and take it easy I know its hard and frustrating when you need things done
