Cesc Fabregas and Samir Nasri not in Arsenal’s squad to face Newcastle United – Premier League Update
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger held a press conference earlier in the day, in order to address the upcoming game against Newcastle. However, the conference instead of being dedicated to the game, was directed towards the press wanting to know what the future
held in store for http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 midfielders, Samir Nasri and Cesc Fabregas.
Wenger, when announcing the squads for the upcoming fixture went on to state that both http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Samir-Nasri-c32360 and Cesc Fabregas would be missing for the game. These words from the manager got the reporters to go on a frenzy, with everyone jumping to the conclusion
that the duo were now guaranteed to be on their way out of the Emirates.
However, Wenger then went on to state that the only reason that the two players were not going to play in the game, were because Nasri had a sickness of some sort, while Fabregas was not match fit yet. The manager then finally went on to address the possibility
of the two players leaving and said that nothing was clear as yet, but he expected the two to go nowhere.
The manager then went on to confirm that http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Abou-Diaby-c3453 were going to miss out on the game as well.
This press conference from Wenger has not really helped anyone and has in fact now created more doubt in the minds of the Gunners fans. Many are now wondering just what Wenger is thinking. If the manager is going to let the duo go, then it would be better
for him to do so now, rather than wait till the very last minute and then risk the possibility of not having enough time to make replacement signings.
Nonetheless, that being said, Wenger seems to finally have taken a stance on the situation at the Emirates and will hopefully go on to sort the issue in the coming days.
