Playing no more than one hour in every match he’s appeared in so far, the young, yet very experienced, midfielder feels as though he is not getting enough chances to improve his statistics.
Since the start of 2012-13 season, former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 captain, Cesc Fabregas, has found it difficult to find his footing in Barcelona first team squad.
Barely playing an hour in each match he has started, the young midfielder is frustrated with his role at the Camp Nou.
Fabregas stated that he wants to play more minutes, sharing that “there is no such thing as a great substitute in the world of football”.
The Spanish midfielder said that he came to Barcelona to learn and play football, however, due to the level of competition in La Blaugrana first team, admitted that it is extremely difficult to shine.
 “The manager knows what I can offer. But across the three positions that I can play, I am competing with the three best players in the world,” and indeed he is, with players like Xavi, and Iniesta, competition for a position in midfield is extremely high.
At the same time, the Spaniard does not want to stir any controversy in the locker room, and stating that he wants all the best for his team-mates and wishes no ill will upon them.
“I always wish my team-mates well and put a happy face on. If I have to take my unhappy face home then so be it, but I would never let my team-mates or manager see it.”
Neither is he going to argue with his coach. The young Barca midfielder states that if a coach tells him to get off the pitch, he will follow his orders.
Fabregas revealed that he feels as though he is wasting his time in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604, however made it very clear that he does not wish to leave the club, and such thoughts are not in his head. The young Spanish player stated, “I'm delighted to be a part of this
team but when a coach tells me I have to go, I'll go.”
Disappointed in his efforts to become an important member of his team, Fabregas stated that he came to Barcelona to compete, learn, enjoy and set out his career, not to sit around “wracking” his brains.
