The Spanish midfielder has not been receiving too much of game-time while playing under the new Barcelona coach, Tito Vilanova, but he recently commented that he is happy playing for him.
After joining http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 from Arsenal last season, there were a lot of expectations from the Spanish midfielder, Cesc Fabregas.
The former http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 skipper was considered to be one of the best midfielder and he proved his price tag as soon as he joined La Blaugrana that season.
However, he was unable to keep up with his brilliant form and while Josep Guardiola had the ability to play him in almost any attacking position, Tito Vilanova has not really done the same.
It has been noticed that Vilanova tries to play Cesc Fabregas as a replacement for Xavi Hernandez and that is the reason why the former Arsenal star is often left on the bench.
While many believe that his talent is going to waste and label him to be a bench warmer for La Blaugrana, Cesc seems satisfied with what his coach has planned for him and wants to continue at the Catalan club.
When Fabregas joined Barcelona, he was playing under Josep Guardiola, a coach who is considered to be the best in the history of La Blaugrana.
However, now, while playing under Tito Vilanova, Fabregas claims that not much has changed as he believes that the only difference between Vilanova and Guardiola is of the face.
While speaking to the press about Tito Vilanova and speaking about his philosophy, Cesc Fabregas said:
“It is all the same training and preparation [as with Pep Guardiola], the only difference is the face that conveys it. Tito is doing very well. He has his own ideas, and the truth is we are all very happy.”
While Fabregas has not been receiving too much first-team action and is craving for it, he might be seen in the starting line-up of La Blaugrana as they take on the challenge of Getafe as soon as the Spanish La Liga kicks off.
With Andres Iniesta out injured for almost two weeks, Cesc finally has the chance to prove to Vilanova that he is worth keeping in the first-team.
