Cesc Fabregas has to leave http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 to be a greater football player – English Premier League debate
“I’m very happy where I am. If I said anything else to you I would be lying,” he said. But does Frances Fabregas have a reason to be content? He wears the band on his arm. He is the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Captain-c8314 for the Gunners.
The Spaniard is Arsene Wenger’s most prized player in the Arsenal lineup. He has been playing for Arsenal for the past seven years. He made his debut in the 2003/04 season and has racked up 212 appearances for the team while also chipping in with 35 goals.
Given Arsenal’s silverware draught, one may feel that a player of Fabregas’ calibre and class has been hard done by. He only managed to win twice with his Gunner teammates. The first one was a FA cup win in 2005. The second win, and the last with the club
so far, was less prestigious but one can safely say that it was prominent nevertheless. Arsenal won the Community Shield in 2004/05 season.
His international honours are more worthy of discussion here. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Spain-c3011 have won both the European Cup and the World Cup with the 24-year-old Fabregas.
He has never lifted a trophy for Arsenal as a captain. http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/William-Gallas-c36874 on the not-so-elite panel.
Since 2005, he has come close to tasting victory on a few occasions. Arsene Wenger’s men have lost three semi-finals and three finals ever since. They suffered defeats at the hands of Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur and http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Chelsea-c38786 in the UEFA Champions
League, League Cup and FA Cup semi-finals respectively.
Fabregas may say he is content and happy but, he must be frustrated at the same time. He is rated as one of the best midfielder’s in the game. The critics often ask if Arsene Wenger’s men have the mettle to carry on and lift a cup. Arsenal has succumbed
to shocking defeats during the last season. The captain feels the brunt. Deep down he probably knows that a shift is eminent. He has enough years of football left in him. Can he end his career at Arsenal in hope of glory with the Gunners? The response is an
obvious no.
Coming from Wenger’s camp, can he afford to let Fabregas go to his native land? It is another no.
“Sometimes we seem scared of losing these big games,” Cesc Fabregas said. This does not help Wenger, the team and Fabregas.
http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 are adamant in bringing Fabregas to Camp Nou. Wenger is not too sure about the entire deal himself. It seems more than likely that Cesc Fabregas will eventually end up with Barcelona. The bosses are looking to pay £35 million for the midfielder.
Wenger will probably want at least £50 million for him. This may be the only deadlock in the end. To sugar-coat the deal, Barcelona may offer a prodigy from their pool of young players.
Wenger will look to try his best to retain Fabregas. But just the fact that Arsenal have been winless in six years will only make the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Job-c18684 harder. As for Fabregas, he needs to be a part of a winning combination. He has been part of a setup long enough which
has only a potential to win and maybe lack the will.
For a player as great as Fabregas, he must be able to do more in his career as a footballer. He needs to be under the umbrella of a great team. It is time to bid adieu to Arsenal and thank them for their hospitality.
As always, Arsenal have created a super star and it is time to hand him over. Of late, it seems to be the only thing they have been able to do best.
