Cesc Fabregas leaves Arsenal for Barcelona – Premier League News
Arsenal captain Cesc Fabregas has gone on to complete his move to Barcelona from the Emirates. The player, who had been pursued by the Catalans for nearly three years, is now finally set to complete his move to the Spanish Champions. However, the completing
of his transfer is still subject to a medical and with him agreeing personal terms with the club.
The player’s transfer is going to cost Barcelona around forty million Euros and will also include around five million Euros as part of add-ons. It is also being reported that the fee for the players transfer will be paid in parts, with half of his transfer
wage being handed over now and the rest coming in, by October.
Arsene Wenger took to the Arsenal website in order to express his thoughts give his opinions over the transfer of his team’s captain.
Wenger is quoted to have said: "We have been clear that we didn't want Cesc to leave and that remains the case"
The manager then admitted that the prime reason for the team allowing Fabregas to leave was because of the player’s desire and not because of the money that was involved in teh transfer.
Wenger then went on to add:
"However, we understand Cesc's desire to move to his hometown club and have now accepted an offer from Barcelona. We thank Cesc for his contribution at http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 and wish him future success."

Barcelona confirmed the capture of Fabregas via their Twitter account as they stated:  "We can say that Cesc is already coming here."
The transfer of the player was made public during the half time break of the Copa http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 were taking on Real Madrid.
Nonetheless, despite this move taking a lot out of Arsenal, what most people are thankful for, is the end of the longest transfer saga to ever take place. Fabregas joined Arsenal from Barcelona’s youth program and made his way up the ranks to eventually
become the Arsenal captain.
During his stay with the Gunners, he went on to make three hundred and three appearances for the team and found the back of the net of fifty seven occasions.
Despite losing out on their captain, Arsenal are more than likely to invest the money from his sale to bring in a decent replacement or two. Considering Arsenal helped Fabregas become the player that he is today, it is not going to be very hard for them
to do the same once again with a different player.
From here on, it is up to Arsene Wenger to try and stabilize the situation at the Emirates once again.
