Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has gone on to confirm that Gunners captain, Cesc Fabregas is torn between two loves and that Samir Nasri is more than likely to remain at the Emirates.
Fabregas seems to be in an unsure state, as he can’t decide what he wants to do and this is preventing him from being able to focus on his football.
Wenger, when talking about Fabregas is quoted to have said:"He is not settled and that has to be sorted out soon. Fabregas is just coming back from injury and we have to make sure that he is focused on being with us”
"Cesc is torn between two loves. I can understand that but we want to be certain about his commitment."
The manager then went on to state that the deadline of August 31st was still present and if any team wanted to make a move for the player, they would have to do so before then.
Wenger seems to have partially admitted that he would be willing to let Fabregas leave, but only if http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Barcelona-c38604 go on to meet the team’s demands regarding the player’s transfer.
The Frenchman seems to also want the transfer saga to wrap up as soon as it can, since it seems to be affecting Fabregas and the team on the whole. Wenger wants the Gunners to be able to get their minds set on the coming season and feels that anything that
can differ their attention, will just cause major setbacks.
At the same time, Arsene Wenger has been kind of cooler on the situation regarding Samir Nasri. The manager has hoped that the midfielder would stay at the Emirates and with all of his suitors now looking elsewhere, it seems more than likely for him to remain
a Gunner.
Nonetheless, Wenger, who didn’t want to be taking any risks about the duo, went on to state that they were still here for the time being, but anything could happen in the near future.
Wenger then ended by stating: "Samir loves the club. We read that he and Cesc are somewhere else every day. But they are still here."
The Gunners are now looking to participate in the Emirates Cup, which will see http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Boca-Juniors-c38658 and the New York Red Bulls take on the Gunners at home. Fabregas is set to miss out on the tournament, while Nasri is going to be present in the team’s staring eleven,
once again.
