Cessna 172 or 152/?

which would you prefer?

172 if you want a future career in aviation.152 if economic condotion

172 - 4 seats, faster, cost more to fly and maintain.

152 - 2 seats, slower and great and cheap to fly.

I would get 152 if I want to just clock hours.  I would get 172, if I want to fly some where often (with passengers).

For what?

I'd prefer not to own either.

For training, the 152 is fine if there's no weight issue with you and your instructor. They're usually also cheaper to rent than the 172.

The 172 is a little more comfortable and is a little better as an instrument trainer.

They fly pretty much the same.
