Cfl vs nfl?

how come theres so many people on the sideline in the nfl than the cfl??

Obvious answer, as already given, is larger roster.  

You also have much larger coaching staffs in the NFL...I seem to recall the Redskins, one year, had a coach for every four players or something ridiculous like that.

Add to this any entourages for players and ownership who show up at games as well as it is nothing for an NFL team to bring along a few extra people...in Canada, our teams are likely flying coach, so they keep the travel costs as low as possible by bringing fewer people.

cause most the people who were on the the sidelines in the nfl ,are now in the cfl.

Larger rosters and support staff.  The NFL (No Fun League) makes huge money (in the billions) every year and so every team has a huge supporting crew of trainers, therapists, assistant coache, security, team doctors, water boys etc.  CFl teams deal in budgets about 2% of that of an NFL team and so you see fewer 'hangers-on' in Canada.
