Malaysia’s young player, Ch’Ng Xue Yang, has stamped her supremacy in the game as he has grabbed Boy’s Singles Under-13 title after taming Muhammad Rizza Faris in the final battle of the Tertutup Remaja Perlis 2011, on Friday, December 30, in Malaysia.
The top seed in the Boys Singles draw of the tournament, Ch’Ng Xue, showed his wonderful skills and dominated the game against the un-seeded Muhammad Rizza, who failed to tackle the aggression of his higher ranked challenger.
Ch’Ng Xue played attacking badminton and ended the final showdown in straight games. He worked well for 45 minutes and showed that he has what it takes to become a world beater.
Muhammad Rizza, who has been playing impressive badminton in the whole tournament, failed to continue his striking run in the final of the event as his opponent was in complete control of the pace.
